Welcome!

I am a college instructor, professional doula, trainer, researcher, and provider of professional education courses for childbirth and family life professionals.  My specialties include labor support, childbirth, adult sexuality, and attachment theory as applied to parenting and caregiving. It's exciting to announce that in 2007 I became an AASECT certified sexuality educator, meeting the highest standards possible in that field! 

My great love is making knowledge come alive for participants in my workshops and classes.  My research topics serve to connect theories with the experiences of real people.  I enjoy building bridges between groups and areas of knowledge, and exciting people to make connections between one another.
